GoodPose - Questions & Answers
The app uses your device's camera to see you. First, an AI model called PoseNet identifies key points on your body, like your shoulders and head. Then, another custom AI model, trained to recognize different postures, analyzes these points to classify your current posture as good or bad. This all happens in real-time, right on your device.
Your privacy is extremely important. All image processing and posture analysis happen directly on your device. No video footage or images are ever recorded, stored, or sent to any external servers. The camera is only used for live analysis.
If the app detects poor posture (like "Forward Head" or "Tilted" or "slouch") for a certain period, and you have notifications enabled, you'll receive a subtle vibration alert. You can turn off this in Settings.
Yes! The app stores your posture data locally. On the Main Screen, you'll see a chart of your posture trend for the current week. During a measurement session, you'll also see a summary of recent analysis. A more detailed posture timeline will be available to help you track your progress over time and by activity.
